Once I knew this guy that was into about eighteen kinds of business. All small businesses that he would open and run from his garage. Once he had a carburetor repair shop. But the most lucrative business he had was giving guitar lessons. People would come in for one of his other businesses, and see his guitar, and ask for an acoustic guitar lesson. It didn’t take him long to start charging for them. Pretty soon he was making so much money through his guitar business that he was able to quit the rest of his businesses altogether. This guy really impressed me as being a very shrewd businessman, to say the least.
