Teen Safe Driving Can Be Monitored

Keeping track of your teen to ensure teen safe driving isn’t as difficult as it once was. There was a time when you sent your kids out into the world in the care and dreaded the possibility of a phone call from the police or worse.

Today you have options.

for instance, there are a number of different teen driving monitors on the market that can do everything from watch them with a camera to monitoring and recording their speed and driving habits.

Some of the systems now on the market can even sound an alarm whenever the teen driver goes over a set speed limit.

While the camera systems may seem like a good idea, it might seem a bit draconian to some teens and they may resent the constant obvious monitoring. It will also embarrass them in front of friends.

A better system would be one that records their entire driving experience including their speed, acceleration and stopping and lets you remotely download the information after they get home into your computer so you can keep track of their driving habits. What you choose to do with the information is your decision but at least you have it. You know!

Your teen will know you’re monitoring their driving but it won’t be intrusive and it won’t be overtly obvious to their friends. It will just encourage teen safe driving.
