Do you know how to attract affiliates ?

I was looking at a few websites on line the other day that helped me in my plight of how to attract affiliates to help get one of the marketing bullet points from our last managers meeting off the ground. The sites did not give me any definitive answers but they gave me a lot of information on what to look for and even a report of ways to locate possible affiliates to contact. I was surprised at how helpful they were without giving me the hard sell on buying their stuff to give me all the answers, usually that is not the case.
