Wondering What My Executor Duties Are

My parent just told me that they have named me as the executor of their will. It makes sense since I am the oldest and definitely the most secure and mature of all of my siblings. But now, I am wondering what my executor duties are. I want to make sure that I fully understand what I will need to do, before the time comes when I actually have to do it. I have been looking online to get some more information. I have found some very helpful web sites and I am going to keep reading so that I fully understand it soon.
