Ibprophin as arthritis medicine for dogs?

We have an 11-year-old golden retriever makes named Amber. She has been under treatment for one year for arthritis and I am researching arthritis medicine for dogs.

She has taken prednisone, rimadyl, and adequan injections all of which seem not to work after awhile. We have decided to try glucosamine sulfate with aspirin. But I’m wondering if we can give her ibuprofen instead.

Are then said she’s had a lie customers report no negative side effects from ibuprofen. However, she also said they have seen several dogs with gastric ulcers caused by this medicine. She also said to watch Amber while on aspirin because it can cause ulcers also.
