Bearing Sorrow
A friend once told me it was his belief that each of us in our lifetimes will, at some point or another, be given a hardship like that Job was given. This trial will be unique and personalized, because it may not be a trial for someone else. When we are given our trials, we must decide whether or not we have enough faith to overcome them. At times we may suffer intense grief and seemingly unbearable sorrow, but we can find solace in the mormon doctrine that Jesus suffered the atonement so He could comfort us. The mormon doctrine of the Holy Ghost also offers us strength.
